Interactive Book Spring

Spring Interactive Book

Yes it’s true, spring has sprung in this spring interactive book. If you live in the opposite side of the world to me you are in the season of spring, you lucky things. I have just the thing for your little cherubs at home or at school. Particularly good for students with Autism due to its simplicity and predictable pattern but it is so much more.

Spring Interactive Book

This interactive book has a focus on ‘what’ questions. It also helps to extend vocab by identifying and labelling some common pictures related to spring. The story is also great for learning to recognise some very early sight words.

Ways to use this product

The book comes in colour or black and white. The colour version is ready to print, laminate and add velcro. The child moves the matching picture on to the square under the spring item. If your student is at a kindergarten level they may be able to identify the first letter or sound and move the word to complete the sentence.

The black and white version provides the student (and the teacher) with lots of different options. Set up as per the colour book or leave as a paper copy for the students to cut and glue or colour cut and glue. The choice is yours.

HINT: Don’t forget to print two copies of the holder page and laminate one page leaving it whole. This will be the last page of the book and it is where the manipulative pictures are held. The children will flip the book at the top of the story.
